Council
approves Frisco Square!
Frisco Square is a 145-acre town center
designed to be extension of current
downtown. The mixed development --
located west of the railroad tracks and
bordered by FM 720, Cotton Gin Road,
Dallas North Tollway -- already features
town homes and apartment living with
retail, commercial and office on the
way. In all, the development will
eventually feature 1.7 million square
feet of office and retail space, plus
400 town homes.

insurance rating!
In November 2000, Frisco was the second
city in Texas to achieve a Class #1
rating from the Insurance Services
Office (ISO). To date, Frisco is one of
only six cities in Texas – and among
only 45 cities in the country with a #1
